Self Study 1

Modeling is of obvious importance to games, and the purpose of this exercise is to model the special objects around me, as well as complete a set of basic modeling processes (including rendering and adding textures).

The first was the basic process of modeling -- creating a bucket

I followed a perfect and easy to understand modeling tutorial, And on the basis of this tutorial, I made some personalized modifications to my first model, And I ended up with this

A Gas Trap, the prototype of which is the Nex Trap from the Apex legend. Of course, this is not even a half-finished product, after which I will complete the Gas Trap. (in fact, I'm sure no one would have known it was a Nex Gas Trap if I hadn't said it: P )

Next came my own modeling, my first finished product is Doraemon:

Doraemon without the bell, of course. Modeling A very detailed object is far beyond my level at the moment, btw, the requirement for this exercise is A real object, so I'm going to show you evidence for Doraemon's existence

Proof of existence

Thank you very much for the pictures Shengmin provided for m

Okay, okay, here's a model of a real object:

The object was based on a statue at Hobart's Wharf, In reality it looks like this:

The statue

Thank Gerg for providing me with the pictures
Modeling is fun and fresh for me, I feel more deeply in the practice is the difficulty of the modeling of the characters is a little bit more difficult than in the modeling of an object, the characters of the model must consider the proportion of the characters, or the final will be looks very strange and acosmia, with most of object modeling might pay more attention to in shape
